| Energy Star may not mean much, according to recent reports. See the link below. Looks like machines are not tested but just registered with the agency. Sears and LG were caught selling appliances that did not meet the standard and they may not be alone. Some states are ending their rebate programs for Energy Star so you might check to see if yours is still active. |
