I am almost done with my first bottle of the Method Free Clear and I like it. I like the small pump, no smell, little suds and it lasts a long time at my house. I use it as a prespotter and it works great. Seems to rinse out well. I wash mostly in warmish water in relatively short cycles in my HE FL and things get very clean.

Target has the pump on sale for about $10 frequently, so I don't know if the refill is really that good of a deal but if you prefer to order online it might save you some cash.

Does anybody still like Method laundry detergent? If you did at one time but don't any more, why? It is still highly rated by GoodGuide.com. Livebetter? Oregpsnow? Anyone? I'm leaning toward healthier choices again -- does it ever end, this back and forth thing?

I tried it (fragrance free, or however they word it, version) and did not find it very effective. I didn't think the clothing came out as clean as I am accustomed to.

I second hisown, and IMO seems to work no better than boutique brands.

P.S. I LIKE other Method products, such as their dishwashing liquid, just not the laundry detergent.

I am devoted to Method tabs and hand wash liquid But found the laundry detergent and dish liquid to be uselessly mediocre.

bummer. thank gawd GoodGuide.com still gives All Free Clear liquid a 10 in Health categoroy. it's the only thing that doesn't give me the itches, darnit. will try the A&H packets on hub's laundry next.
