I'm looking for a second hand washer and found this one, Maytag LAT 7314AE
A google search hasn't turned up very much, I'm trying to find out what year it was made and what reviews this model got
Does anyone know anything about this machine?

It's belt driven and a much smaller capacity than what I'm used to but looks in decent shape otherwise.

Comes with an 8 mo fix or replace guarantee

RE: used Maytag LAT any good?

LAT7314AAE is a "classic" Maytag machine, the two-belt design they'd been manufacturing since the 1950s ... although updated with the orbital transmission (shorter/faster agitate stroke). A robust and reliable washer.

The smaller capacity of these machines is why Maytag obtained and marketed the larger one-belt "Norgetag" units that ended up being troublesome.

Month & date of manufacture is coded in the serial number.

thank you so much dadoes!

I don't really need a large capacity machine any more, so this one may be perfect for me
