Woke this a.m. To a minor flood on laundry room floor, water softener hose had come loose over the night and ran onto the floor. I have tried to run my Fisher & Paykel ecosmart top load washer and nothing....wondering if I should call someone or just wait a bit in hopes that if something got wet and it dries....seven kids....can't go without a washer too long!!! Thanks for any help.

Unfortunately ... it won't get better from drying out if it's already dead.

Assuming the flood was deep enough to get the pump and SmartDrive motor wet while the machine was connected to power ... the wet pump probably zapped the controller board. Or if it wasn't yet zapped at that point, it would likely be zapped if you tried to run the machine before everything did get thoroughly dried.
