Hi,
We are trying to install a new W/D in our upstairs laundry closet. The problem is that the telescoping vent that they brought today will not work because the hole in the wall where it should fit in has a bit of piping hanging out on the top portion. In other words, the piping is sticking out at an angle so the telescoping vent cannot just slide in to it because the bottom portion won't fit.

We can't add some piping b/c that defeats the purpose of the telescoping vent due to the depth we are allowed for the W/D to fit.

Is there some type of flexible flashing and adhesive/screws or some other way to get this to fit? Any ideas?
