| Hello everyone!
My whirlpool duet frontloader ( about 4 yrs old) is gathering a bucket full of water after the wash is finished. AND sometimes not all the time the clothes are soaking wet. What could be going on if it is something and sometimes? I have tried hot/cold and warm rinses. high spin, med and low |

| Intermittant problems are usually worse than just a normal breakdown! I don't know your machine specifically, but I would check the simple things first: 1. Drain Filter/Trap, is there something in there? 2. Water drain hose, is it clear? I would also run an empty load with the hottest possible water and see how things go, and report back. Mihai |

| have you tried opening the trap door down at the bottom and carefully with a container in place to catch the water drain it using the hose there then open the trap and clean it out>? if you have something in the trap it can cause your symptoms. here are some videos to give you an idea, most have them in the same location and very similar.
