| I am adding a new laundry room in my basement and I would like to add some storage cabinets next to the w/d as well as some countertop with space below for laundry baskets.
My basement has flooded a few times (1" or less of water) and although I have put in a new french drain system and waterproofed the exterior, I don't rule out another flood. I don't want to put kitchen type wood cabinets in the basement laundry room. Any ideas for other options? Garage cabinets would work, but I wanted a nicer look. Has anyone seen strong plastic cabinets that you could put a countertop on? I am new to the laundry forum, but I've been busy over on the kitchen forum planning other parts of my renovation. GW is such a great resource. Thank you for your help. |
