Best detergent for a Top Loader

My 7 year old FL quit working last week. After much research I decided to replace it with a TL Speed Queen. What is the best detergent to use in a TL? Could I just use double the amount of a HE detergent? I've been using Sears HE with Enzymes. Thanks.

Just use the Sears you have been using. You may just use the single scoop even for the new TL. Just try it and maybe increase by a 1/2 scoop if needed. Best I remember the Sears scoop is for either machine.? I havent used any of it in a few years.

I bought my SQ TL in December and I have the Sears powder w/enzymes. All you need is a scoop like the package says. Using to much detergent stays in your clothes.
