Replacing heating element

I have a samsung dryer and the heating element has just gone out for the 3rd time in 4 years. The other times it was replaced under warranty but it's since run out. Is this something I can do myself or should I just call someone. I've repaired the washer myself a few times already and that was easy enough, just not sure about the dryer. Im ready to throw this set to the curb. :-/

Well, have you checked YouTube for disassemby instructions for your or a similar model?

Here is a link that might be useful:

I always forget to think about YouTube!

Thanks for the link, it was very helpful. My husband was able to test both the high limit thermostat and the heating element... both were bad so Im assuming the crapped out thermostat just let the element burn itself out.

I checked out YouTube and found a lot of helpful info... also found that there are videos of entire washing machine cycles!
