| Yesterday I bought an LG 5001CW TL HE washer and was delighted to learn about this rebate program. Almost all HE washers purchased in 2011 in certain areas of Northern California are eligible for up to $125 rebate sponsored by PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) and local water companies. It seems that a few washers manufactured by Samsung are not eligible since they employ silver ion technology for odor elimination. The link below identifies the water districts (get that from your bill). There's an embedded link to a list of eligible washers. The small print: "Payment of rebates is not guaranteed as funds are limited, and amounts and offerings are subject to change. All rebate program terms and conditions apply." I'll post here if they show me the money.
