Hi all,
just thought I'd post this video set someone made of Miele washer for those of you interested in possibly purchasing one.
It's really quite fascinating to watch.
The machine that is filmed is obviously a machine built for Europes market, and appears to be noisier than my new Miele (4842) which makes NO electric "buzzing" sound at all as the washer tumbles the clothes back and forth during the wash cycle. Mine is as quiet as a mouse during wash other than the noise that the laundry makes.
These take a while to watch but for someone considering the option they show you how the Miele works. The parts where the Miele starts to calculate and correct the balance before going into spin is most interesting:

| But that's an old(er) Miele washer. There are tons of videos of more modern Miele washers on YouTube. Here's a selection of videos of current Miele models for the US market: Miele W3033 Miele W4800 more W4800 W4840 rinse on "maximum water level" |

Thanks whirlpool trainee...Yeh I saw after reading some of the comments that guy who made those videos said the machine 1995 machine! Still running strong after all those years! My machine works pretty much the same, even though it's years later new. It is (4842) however a lot more quiet than the one in the video! |
