I am creating this post because I just can't find, when I need it, the original post I got this information from. On this site you can find Service and Owners Manuals for the complete LG line of consumer goods. This includes their TROMM Washer and Dryers (Discovery line). I haven't needed any of these yet, but maybe 10 years from now ....? Also there are installation (includes leveling) and disassembly videos. They are pretty funny... looks like they spent all of $10 to make them, but they are informative.

I have an LG WM2032HW for 3 years and 9 months. It has run flawlessly during this time. I really like this machine and have no complaints about it. But it is always good to have all the information one can get about a new kid on the block. It was a new kid when I got it.

I noticed on the site that they have a directory for the wm0642hw. However, this directory is empty... Does anyone know where I might find a service manual for it? I have no issues at the moment, but you never know if one may develop.

I found service manual for WM0642HW... Use links in inital post and choose the WM2042.htm link... You will note on page one that the service manual applies to the WM0642HW as well.

Now if LG would just create a service bulletin for the 0642 as they did on the 2277 which now has a "tub clean" feature, I will be 100% completely satisfied.

We bought the 2688 & 8388 a few months ago.

love 'em so far

I had to remove/replace dryer drum (sratch & dent model)
easy to repair

http://www3.sears.com/
has some parts, type in model number such as: WM2688*

new site for the LG service manuals

training manuals & videos no longer on-line :(

although I previously d/l ALL of them :)

MAY fit on a DVD ROM

let me know if you need them

Thanks for the offer, Regus. That is very nice of you. I think I have all that I need. The disassembly videos were very valuable to me, as I will undoubtably need them sometime after the warranty is over in another 4 years. I just can't get myself to pay for service calls. HaHa. The machines are very robust, aren't they? I still enjoy using ours.

I tried in vain to get owner manual on web for LG WM2455 (which I am thinking of buying). This model is not on the site regus gives above. 2 customer service reps could not find it on web either but I finally got one who emailed it to me (it was an attached pdf file read by Abobe). Maybe this would help if all else fails. I called 800-243-0000.
