Light is ALWAYS on

I have an LG WM2487*MA front loading washer and it seems to working OK but now the light is ALWAYS on. How can I get it to shut off?

There is usually a switch right inside the door ( at least in the older models ) check and see if lint or something has stuck it in the on position and remove it. Perhaps the switch has gone bad!
