I am hoping to soon replace a Kenmore Oasis W & D set. (Have not been at all pleased with them for a long time!)
Our laundry is in a closet area w/bifold doors upstairs. Tried a FL up there before we got the Oasis and the noise was awful and the set barely fit in the space. So we are staying with TL.
We don't really want another TL "Oasis" type washer which would rule out Cabrio, Bravos, Aquasmart - etc. (I think we would have the same issues we have now with cleaning)
So I've narrowed it down to Speed Queen or F&P Intuitive (or Elba model? differences). I did research both here but haven't seen much recently. Any thoughts/updates?
Household of 4 - 2 boys - lots of dirty clothes.
Follow-Up Postings:
RE: Speed Queen TL or Fisher & Paykel TL not Aquasmart
F&P's Intuitive agitator model (IWL16) appears to be discontinued. It's no longer on their web site. May be the only way to find one now is a dealer with one still in stock. Unfortunate if true, as the Intuitive Eco (I have an IWL12) is the most versatile and customizable agitator toploader I've ever seen/used.
Last I recall when checking the Elba details, it's largely identical to the EcoSmart model but lacks a Woolens cycle. Elba also is (supposedly) exclusive to Sears Outlet stores.

dadoes - I was afraid of that. I had some brochures saved up from a previous search and was hoping it would hang in there until we could decide. I'll check dealers around here. Lowes only special orders F&P machines now (according to our store).
dadoes - I found this on the web site for IWL16 - Intuitive Eco. There is some availability but it showing "limited". Are they really discontinuing the only agitator model?

No, the EcoSmart agitator unit is still listed (current model WA37T26GW2). It's equivalent to the previous models GWL10, GWL11, GWL15, etc. The Intuitive Eco (IWL12, IWL15, IWL16) was a step-up in features and options from EcoSmart.
Your link is an "old" page that's apparently still in the database on the hosting server. IWL16 is not shown if the page is backed-up to the start of the Clothes Washers section, so I assume that indicates it's discontinued and limited to stock on-hand.

F&P now has 1 year warranty and Speed Queen 3 years. Elba states 18 months. Still haven't made a decision but didn't know F&P reduced the warranty coverage.
