Hi all. Does anyone have any recommendations for a front loader that is not huge? We do not need apartment size, but our laundry room dimensions do not allow anything probably over 4 cubic feet capacity. We do not want to spend over $1000 and will not buy anything made by LG. We are coming off a bad experience with an LG front loader and do not want to try another front loader.

I am not looking for a ridiculous amount of "bells and whistles", but I would like the washing machine to have a delicate/hand wash cycle. I also want a machine that does get hot - not just on the sanitary cycle.
