Maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like my LG WM3470 clothes washer uses more water (than it would otherwise) when I add the TurboWash option to a cycle, not exactly unwelcome IMO. It certainly seems to inundate the clothes quickly, get them clean, and save time. Is the trade-off simply that it uses more water? Has anyone else noticed this?

I think so. After I read your post I put a load into my LG FL and selected Turbowash. I heard water sloshing which one does not hear on the regular cycles.

How well does the Turbo wash clean? i have been trying to decide on either a front load LG3470 or with the turbo wash. Each time i look at youtube videos there just doesn't seem to be enough water to do a good job of cleaning. I have been leaning towards a SpeedQueen. How ofter does the Turbowash spray nozzles spray water?
