It is a beautiful system, however, a good quality ironing board hung on the back of the door will be a lot less costly. Be sure you know exactly where it will go before you buy it and work with your existing ironing board as though fixed in that location. (when I tried to do this, I realized that there was no convenient wall in my house...which is why I always end up ironing in the middle of the living room....you also need to consider the electrical connection of the model you are choosing as hiring an electrician would further increase your cost). If you are going to sink it into the wall you may be better off making your own recessed space with....an outlet, a board hanger, a manufactured cabinet door held in place by a piano hinge....all together, they would not be as expensive as this. I frequently see these for sale on craigslist-have you checked out that resource?
