washed pants with iron supplement in pocket!

Hi,
I accidentally washed a pair of brown curdorroy pants with an iron supplement in the pocket. Now the pants smell horribly, like a mixture of iron and fish! I have rewashed them about 4 times in cold water using reg detergent with no luck in getting smell out. I would really appreciate any advice on this! Thanks!

Try some calcium, rust, and lime remover. CLR, perhaps. I am pretty sure you can find some most anywhere that you can add to your washer. You can always soak it in a bucket, I suppose. They do stink, so be aware. Good luck!
