fisher paykle washer

my fisher paykle washing machine will not drain water or spin during the rinse cycle it works fine until then. would appreciate some words of wisdom on how to fix this problem

What specific model is your machine? GWL08, GWL10, GWL11, GWL15, IWL12, IWL15, IWL16, WA37-something, WA42-something, WL-something?

The problem may be the pump (likely) or the diverter valve (somewhat less likely), or possibly something else ... depends on the specific sequence of events and symptoms. There are on-board diagnostics to test components and function.

The machine can't spin until after the water is drained.
