I'd just like to say thanks to everyone here for all the valuable information. After going around and around looking at many w/d sets and reading all the great opinions online, I picked up the Duet Sport pair as a surprise for my Mother while she is away in Italy. (Her old washer gave out the first week she was away, typical!) We (my cousin and myself) also took the opportunity to give the laundry room a good cleaning out and a coat of paint.
