How full to load my front loader?

Hello,

I've had a Kenmore HE2t front loader for a little bit and I'm trying to figure out if I've been overloading the washer. My manual doesn't describe how full to load it. I tend to put clothes in there till it's full, but don't try and stuff in extra clothes. There's usually not much empty volume in there when I'm done. Clothes seem to get clean, but I'm concerned that I might be wearing out the motor?

I searched around and it looks like some people weigh their clothes before putting it in?

I have had an Asko 6kg front loader for 8 yrs. My previous machine was an Italian brand 6kg also which lasted 7yrs. My 6kg Asko holds more than the other 6kg machine. I was advised as long as you can fit your hand in at the top without pushing the clothes down you'll be right. I've been doing this for 15 yrs & I have good results. Towels can be deceiving.I tend not to do more than 8 regular bath towels. Stick to what you are doing. P.s the brushes will wear out before the motor does.
