Just painted my new basement bathroom with beadboard and thought I was going to lose it with all the little grooves in the beadboard. I couldn't get the paint to not pool in the grooves both top and bottom. Finally had to take a deep breath and paint the grooves first with the brush and then roll the rest. I still laid off with a brush after I rolled. Good luck, BTW the cabs and bench look great. Nice finish carpenterd.
