Washer and Dryer Suggestions

Hi, my first post! We are in the processing of closing on our first house!! Needed a few suggestions in terms of Washer and Dryers. We are a family of 4 plus one dog. I cloth diaper and have a boy who is always dirty!! What do you recommened? My budget is about 1200.00. I heard about Maytag and will stay away from there. We have a maytag stove in the rental house and it is a piece of junk. Any ideas...
