Knit Tube Scarf Pattern

Posted by gaillanay (My Page) on

I am looking for a scarf pattern that I can only describe as a tube scarf. It is long and narrow, but will streach out to become a cowled neck scarf or can also streach into a hood and neck scarf. I have seen them in the eyelash, or fuzzy yarns. Any help would be appreciated.

I think this is the scarf you are looking for.

Here is a link that might be useful: Three Way Scarf

Thank you both, this is just what I was looking for. Now all I have to do is find the time to sit and knit.

It's called a mobius.

This particular scarf is not a moebius. There is no twist in it at all. It is simply a tube scarf made on large enough needles to allow it to be stretched either to be long and skinny or short and wide enough to be placed as a hood and shawlette.

Made one last winter and couldn't remember the pattern found it so am posting it maybe too late but very easy
not sure how much you cast on as it doesn't say just what width you want "knit 1, slip as if to purl" till its as big as you want I put in a few rows of fun fur
hope this helps
