Crochet stitches in video

I know that several times we have been looking for little movies of how to do crochet stitches. I found it again at Annies Attic. Click on the link and then pick a stitch then click on the quick time link and a little video will appear.

Here is a link that might be useful: stitches in video

Thank you for posting that. I was able to find some videos on knitting stitches too. It was interesting that I found several different ways to pick up stitches. One video says to use one thread, another says to go through two threads. Another says that there are many ways to do it and you can select the way that works best for what you are making. Good.

I'm working on a Mary Maxim basket weave knit afghan that I made once before, but I think the backside looks different this time around. I guess I'm okay as long as I'm consistent???

I think the knitting and crocheting videos online are just invaluable. I'm working on a project that would have left me lost without those helpful videos to do stitches I wasn't familiar with.

Thanks, Minnie.

Babka, I wonder why the afghan looks different. I totally agree with you--if you like the way it looks, it isn't "wrong."
