| Hello,
I am new to knitting and new here. My name is Dalia Salem. I am hoping to learn and benefit from all of you. I wanted to get a knitting book to help me along and I was wondering if you have any suggestions? thanks,

| Some good ones are Debbie Stoller's Stitch and B*tch (funny and hip but may offend some conservative knitters) and Knitting for Dummies (not flashy but lots of useful info). If you want a small, basic techniques book, look for Vicki Square's Knitting Companion. There's lot of free help on the web like in the site below: |

| Thanks a lot. I'll check them out. I was also searching the web and I came across the following site: http://webreviewboard.org/Learn-knitting-eBook.htm Some of the programs offer free online courses. I signed up for a few. Hopefully they'll be beneficial. Does anyone have any experience with these programs? Thanks.. |
