| I went to Michaels today to pick up a small knitting pattern book. When I took it to the register with my 40 percent off coupon, the clerk told me that the coupons no longer apply to books or magazines. She said it has been that way for about a month. Too bad. |

| I was in a couple days ago and used a 40% coupon for yarn. The register printed out, along with my receipt, a coupon good for 20% off my "entire regular priced purchase" good until Oct 25. I just read the legal disclaimer small print on the register printed coupon and sure enough, books are not included, along with Xmas Trees over 4' tall, etc, etc. etc. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. -Babka |
