| I have an afghan that my grandmother crocheted probably 40 years ago. At some point over the years, it was washed and some of the thread has come loose. It's a double crochet stitch on an inner ring of one of the squares. It's a gorgeous afghan that I'd really like to use again but I cannot think of a good way to repair it. Any ideas would be much appreciated. |

| Just try to double crochet the pieces, and when the yarn is too short for that, use a yarn sewing needle and just twist it around and through to make it look good enough. When you secure it, I would just reinforce it by using some sewing thread in the same color to lock it in place. |
