Knitted Doll Hair Loops?

Posted by sjarz (My Page) on

Do any of you very crafty folk know how to make these? Are they talking about the loops we used to attach to potholders years ago?
The pattern which is for a Raggedy Ann Doll says "knit doll hair loops for her hair"...
in the dark as to what they are talking about here, and thanks to anyone that can help.

RE: Knitted Doll Hair Loops?

Suzan, is this a pattern you purchased, or a free pattern from somewhere on the net? If it's a free pattern, could you provide a link to it, so I can check it out and see what I can come up with? I would think that if it were a purchased pattern, you would be given instructions as to how to make the hair loops.

Here is a link to a web page that describes a loop stitch. Could this be what you are looking for?

RE: Knitted Doll Hair Loops?

I actually got so interested in someone else's knitting woes I decided to post the question over here = not a knitting expert, but those loops look perfect to me and thank you VERY much for posting that donna!
