Lion Brand Jiffy Thick & Quick durability

I just finished my first scarf in Farrow rib using Lion Bran Jiffy Thick & Quick on 13" needles. Supposedly, it can be machine washed and dried. Does anyone know the long-term durability of this yarn if it is machine washed/dried, from personal experience?

BTW, I love the Farrow rib pattern and had a blast knitting it with this fun yarn. It would also make a warm, snuggly lap blanket. As I am knitting, my mind is swirling with all kinds of future projects. I'd love to do some charity items for older folks and kids... and make scarves for everyone I know. :)

RE: Lion Brand Jiffy Thick & Quick durability

I have never used the Jiffy Thick & Quick but can tell you that the regular Jiffy has been great. I used it for some hooded baby blankets (Lion Brand Bobble pattern) and the mothers have been very pleased with throwing it in and out of the washer/dryer.
