Help with reading a Rowan knitting pattern

Hello. I wonder if anybody out there could help me with a dilemma.

How would you read this:

26 stitches
Inc 1 st at side seam edge of next and foll 10th row, then on foll 8th row, then on foll 6th row and AT SAME TIME inc 1 st at front opening edge of next 5 rows, then on foll 7 atl rows then on foll 4th row
43 stitches

My own interpretation leads to 44 stitches, not 43. Help, please.

Thanks v much.

Maria

RE: Help with reading a Rowan knitting pattern

Inc 1 st at side seam edge of the 10th row (+1),
Inc 1 st on following 10th row (+1),
Inc 1 st on following 8th row (+1),
Inc 1 st on following 6th row (+1),
AND AT THE SAME TIME -
Inc 1 st at front opening edge of next 5 rows (+5),
Inc 1 stitch on following 7 alternate rows (+7),
Inc 1 stitch on following 4th row (+1)
This equals 17 increases. 17 + 26 = 43.
It might make it easier to just draw horizontal lines on a sheet of paper and write the side seam increases on one side at the appropriate rows, and the front edge increases on the opposite side. That's what I did and came up with the correct number of increases.
