| I have looked in my small stash of knitting books and can't find the directions of this stitch. The hat I'm making calls for 8 rows of Moss stitch. What the heck is that and how do I do it? Thanks |

| 9-23-07 Moss Stitch is the same as seed stitch. Like ribbing of Knit 1 stitch then Purl 1 stitch and on next row, you would Knit the Purl stitch and purl the knit stitch. Moss stitch is Canadian term Seed Stitch is U.S.A. Term Depends on author/country of pattern. Hope this helps and good luck. |
