I started a dishrag pattern over the weekend and came to this row:
15th row: K1. Inc 1 st in next st. *yrn. P2tog. Rep from * to last 3 sts. P1. Inc 1 st in next st. K1. I was clueless about "yrn" but found it -- "yarn around needle" -- so, how is that different from "yarn over needle" or are they the same? Thanks! |

| Carol Ann, it sounds like the same thing to me. Is your pattern Canadian maybe? Donna |
|
| Donna, the pattern is from the ball band for Lily Sugar 'n Cream... I had to look it up, but yes, it's Canadian. I guess they have some slightly different abbreviations/terms. Thanks! |
