I came across a few patterns for crochet socks and was wondering if anyone has made any.
Care to share your experiences?

RE: Crochet socks

I have a friend who crocheted socks and did a fine job. I do know that, Leisure Arts ( I think that's who it is) has a booklet out called something like "How to Crochet Socks" or I can crochet socks, something like that. I used thier knit sock how to book before I got the pattern I use now for most of my socks.

RE: Crochet socks

I have several booklets with crochet sock patterns. I just haven't gotten around to making any yet. I have my doubts about them. I know it will take more yarn and yarn ain't cheap. And I doubt that they will be as comfortable as knit socks. I know my crochet slippers aren't as comfortable as my knit slippers. But I also know that I would get them done a whole lot faster than knit socks, because I can crochet a whole lot faster than I can knit.

RE: Crochet socks

I've never knit socks so thought this might be a good way to make some. I too, thought they would work up faster in crochet.
