| I saw a woman on a flight I was on last week that had many women admiring her capelet including the female cabin steward. I call it a capelet only because it wasn't a typical shawl. It ended just below her waist, was straight across the front and back and if my memory is correct, stopped at her elbow.
I've attached a picture of a sweater that has a similar design on the top, but this was much more open at the neck then this sweater. It cut across the bust in an angle and had one large button to fasten it. It really was stunning. She had it over jeans and a white shirt--it could go with anything. Done is a simple k1,p1 stitch, nothing fancy.
