I'd like to try the Purse Stitch to make a scarf for my mom. It's fairly easy and fast.
The pattern consists of just one row which includes a YO every other stitch. I'm wondering what the best bind-off would be for this, considering all the YO stitches. Should I purl one whole row at the end and then purl the bind-off? If I do that, I'd also need to purl one row after casting on and before starting the pattern, so both ends are the same. I'm wondering how it would look if I did a bind-off of a row with yarn-overs.
I'm relatively new to knitting and practicing my technique with scarves.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Jen
