Crocheted Scarf Pattern

Posted by ivamae (My Page) on

I am making a lot of tuques and scarves for the homeless. I have a pattern I like for scarves but it has fringe on both ends. I would like to find one that I could crochet back and forth and not have the fringe. I have googled and haven't found anything that I like. Would any of you have a pattern I could get or could you recommend a site to me.

Can't you just omit the fringe? What around crocheting
an edge? Single crochet maybe around the scarf or any kind
of crochet stitch? I am basically a knitter and don't
crochet that much but I did have idea for you.
Hope this helps.
Hoping someone else has a better idea than me.

Do you belong to Tons of crochet scarf patterns to choose from. I just omit putting the fringe on if I don't like it. Mary

Replace the fringe with a regular crochet edging. You can find different edgings on crochet sites or pick up an edging book where you buy your yarn. I would just google "crochet edgings" to find sites and pick a site that offers them for free. You can just edge the ends or take the edging around the scarf. Either way would be pretty.
