Since it's it's been a few months since your post, try making a new post that goes something like this: "seeking pattern for placemats using several colorful yarn scraps" and more people are likely to actually open the message because they can see what it's about. (Few messages are opened that dont say exactly what they are about.) Until then, if I see the pattern, I will get in touch. I look on the internet for patterns all the time and may see something that could work. Have you tried that? I will include a link here. Your placemats sound very VERY pretty! I am already imagining what beautiful placemats I could make for this Winter's colors. Thank you for inspiring me.
