Nothing tempted me at crochetpatterncentral.com. Can anyone help me with a rectangular pattern? I want something that will breath over over Summer strappy cotton dresses for day, so openwork of some kind is called for. My yarn color is pink One Pound Caron. I have far too many capelet shaped and V-shaped shawls. Need a rectangle. Thank you.

Why not pick a pretty shell pattern and just make a rectangle the size you want? Maybe look thru a stitch pattern book and pick a new stitch that catches your eye and try that in a rectangle. For what it looks like you want, that's what I would do. Tami

I made one of these a few months ago -- not with Vanna's yarn so you could use the yarn you have. Pattern calls for 21 oz but you could make it shorter - Caron has the Perfect Match in 7oz that matches the one pounder. It's pretty but may not be as open as you'd like.
