Anyone have a simple pattern they could share with me. I would like to make some for friends so I need something that doesn't require alot of time. Thanks

once again, Donna to the rescue :-)

Lion Brand has a few free patterns on their site - you can also use any dishcloth pattern if looking for a particular stitch

I have been using the granny pattern lately to make dish cloths and every one likes them.

Here is a great link for dishcloths. DeeDee, click on Fancy Granny Dishcloth and you can see what Velleen is talking about. A granny square is a basic open-weave design that is used for multiple purposes - dishcloths, afghans, and even clothing. It is simple, a great way to use of scraps, etc. The directions can be found on many sites, basic books, etc. There are a few differences so use a google search for directions if you don't have any books around.
