crocheting with fun fur

I just received a bag of fun fur. Anyone have anything quick they could share with me. I do crochet but this would be the first time I would be using the fun fur. Do I need a certain size needle? I would appreciate anything you have to offer. Thanks

It's best to use a large hook, at least an H. I highly recommend using another "regular" strand of yarn along with the Fun Fur. When crocheting with it, it is extremely difficult to locate where you should place the hook into a stitch unless you carry another yarn along with it.

I can't crochet with it. I bought so much and have to use it to tie up gifts.

I prefer to knit with it, Minnie, just because it is so hard to find the next place to put your hook in crocheting. I knit the yarn all by itself or with another yarn. I have used smaller needles and huge needles. Good luck in crocheting with it. I find that often I can find the next stitch with my fingers by feeling for the space where I should put the hook.
