wrong side ?

When a pattern says: end on wrong side does that mean the wrong side is the last row you knitted or the side you are going to do next? Does that question make sense?

RE: wrong side ?

I am making a sweater right now that says "end right side". The next row is then a purl row, which will be the wrong side, so at least in this instance it means that the last row I knitted was the right side.
