My mother pasted on and she left the start of a crochet blanket. It is done with a crochet hook that is at least 24 inches long with a hook on each end. I never seen her work on it and can't figure how to continue. What she has done is really lovely. Can any of you girls help me with the directions or tell me where to go to find them. thanks so much if you can help.

I think that's an afghan hook or Tunisian Crochet. I found 2 links...go here to see if this is what it looks like: http://www.freepatterns.com/content/content.html?content_id=72 Good luck! I hope I helped.

The crochet hook on each end is called "crohook" and used to make a blanket using 2 colors (one color per side) Patterns using this Crohook is called Crochet on the Double Here is a site for instructions: http://www.crochetcabana.com/specialty/crochet-double.htm Hope this helps and good luck.

I want to thank every one so much. I went to all the sites you suggested and printed off the directions. I will try to figure out if I can understand it or not. Pandora wouldn't you know I ran out of ink when I went to crochetnmore so will have to go to town. I bookmarked them all so don't loose them. Thanks so much, will let you know how I get along.

Mamerjj I hope you can figure out how to finish the crochet blanket because then you will have something that both you and your dear mother made. How pleased she would be to know that. You could practice with some other yarn before you start the blanket. I'm sorry you lost your mom.

there are also videos on You Tube that shows you how. I need to see someone doing it. Just type in cro-hook or Tunisian crochet. I learned that way. Good luck
