As I'm sure most of you have heard, the poncho ms was wearing upon release was knitted by one of her prison buddies. Was wondering-does anyone know the pattern and type of yarn used to make her poncho. I think it's pretty swanky and would love to make one! Thanks:)

Is it special because Martha wore it? I don't think it's particularly attractive. And that's not a slam on Martha. I love Martha.

Oh, and I think it looks like it's crochet, not knit.

I like the edge of the poncho the best. I have Nicky Epstein's book "Knitting on the Edge," and I'd love to try some of the edges on some projects.

Hello all, Does anyone have a pattern for the Martha Stewart poncho in the knit version SIZE SMALL? I would like to make one for my daughter who is very petite. The children's Martha Stewart pattern is too small. Thanking you in advance, INEZ
