| my daughter wants a hair snog that attaches to a barrette so that she can tuck all her hair in to it any direction will be helpful thanks |

| I have no idea what a hair snop or hair snog is. Could you tell us a bit more about it? Neither nets any results with Google that make sense. |

Think Mellie, in Gone with the Wind....remember, she wore this 'thing' aroundher hair that was gathered at the nape of her neck...it looks like a very large holed mesh bag....(looks like lots of yos)...you fit it around your bun, and secure it, usually at the top....its called a Snood... dictionary says it is "A small netlike cap worn by women to keep the hair in place" If you do a google with this as your subject, you'll find lots on knitted snoods; "snood" +knitting instructions |

| Check out crochetpatterncentral and knittingpatterncentral. Both have bun cover and snood patterns for free. Quite a few, in fact. |
