I'm on my third one now and quite pleased. However, I am wondeing if it would be possible to make an Infinity scarf and if so, how would you do it?

I've thought of the same thing, Iva Mae (my middle name is Mae, too). I'm thinking of trying this: On the last row, I'm going to go through the first stitch on the needle and the first stitch on the other end of the scarf and bind them off together. I think I'll give it a twist first so it's kind of like a moebius. Anyone have another (better) idea? I'm all ears.

I found I liked doing it back and forth on a circular needle and I wondered if it wouild be possible to use a lot of stitches for the length and just do a few rows? Do you think that would work or not?

Sure, it would work. Only your ruffles will be vertical instead of horizontal.
