scrubbie pattern

I am looking for a scrubbie pattern that after being knitted is drawn up by a centre thread and the scrubbie ends up a round pad. I have looked on many on-line sites but haven't been successful in finding the pattern. I have seen these in a local craft store but the pattern isn't for sale. Does anyone have this pattern or know where it's available? Thanks in advance.

sylvialee,

If you do an internet search for tawashi scrubby you may find what you are looking for. I'm not sure if these are crocheted or knitted.

Hope this helps.

Here's a crochet pattern for a spiral scrubbie. I've made several as gifts.

Here is a link that might be useful: Spiral Scrubbie Pattern

If you join Ravelry, there is knit and crochet patterns for it in their free patterns. Joining is free. One is called a Tribble.

Hey......Thanks for the good tips. I have checked out each site mentioned - found some excellent patterns and am now a member of Ravelry. I did find the pattern (and it's free) that I was looking for. Only thing, I have to brush up on my crochet skills. Those round scrubbies look pretty easy though and there an instruction site on U tube. Thanks again, you gals always come through.

Ravelry has several patterns that will not require that you brush up on your crochet skills, as they are knit.
