Looking for discontinued Rowan Polar yarn

Posted by melimel_76 (My Page) on

I started a baby sweater thinking I had enough of this beautiful yarn that I had picked up at an estate sale...and now I'm almost finished--except for the SLEEVES--and I'm not going to have enough yarn!

Does anyone know where I can find about 2 skeins of Rowan Polar in White (SH645)? If I can't get some, I suppose my baby kimono sweater is going to have to go baseball-style, with whatever color Rowan Polar I can search out...

Thanks!

Well, you could rip out the front and back of the sweater low enough to add some wide stripes in another yarn. Use the saved yarn to start the sleeves, and add lots of stripes there too. Or you can make the yoke in a solid of another color, and then use both yarns in the sleeves. Maybe you could buy another color of the same kind of yarn, or you could just use a similar yarn. Good luck.

I found this site that has your color listed at:
http://www.yarndex.com/yarn.cfm?yarn_id=120
HOpe you can get the yarn.
Good luck.
