I need to find a "dickie"pattern

Posted by barb_roselover_in (My Page) on

I has been so cold here that I have gotten out the long underwear, the leggings and you name it. Found one of my little dickie collars that I put on under my v=neck sweaters. It is nice and warm and wouldn't take too long. Anybody who can steer me towards a simple pattern? Thanks in advance. Barb

Barb, are you a member on Ravelry? If not, it is free to join. Do a search there for dickies, neck warmers, collars, ect. anything you can think of that they might be called. I am sure you will find lots of patterns for them. Or if you have a pattern for a top down turtle neck sweater, maybe you can "wing" it.

Yes, Tami, I belong to ravelry, but I haven't always found it easy to get the information I need, and I lose patience before I get it accomplished. Thanks for the answer. Barb

Thank you so much. The first one wouldn't respond it said so I copied it down by hand. The other one printed out. Bless you missing the obvious for taking the time to reply. Barb

Barb, you could also search for "neckwarmer" patterns. Similar to cowls, but generally are not a closed loop.
