Since it is self-striping, I would find a pattern that's worked in the round to avoid the stripes not matching up, but keep in mind that all balls of Noro are not created equally - the stripes will be different with each one.

Also, since not all Noro is multiple colors, I wouldn't suggest the Noro pattern books without searching through them first for a pattern you like, that's done in the round.

Interestingly enough, when I had the back of the sweater upside down next to the front it did match. I took it apart and balled the yarn the opposite way, re-knitted the front and both sides match perfectly! I realize this is a huge coincidence, but glad it worked in my favor! Now, if only I could be so lucky with the sleeves matching!

Actually, that's not such a coincidence. You will find that many of the self-stripting skeins have similar or identical color transitions.

I knit a pullover for my husband with Noro Silk Garden. It took a lot of skeins. After I bought them, I carefully selected 4 pairs of matching or almost matching skeins, numbered them and used them to knit the front and back. I also tried to pick similar pairs for the sleeves. The sweater turned out beautifully.

You can also knit sweaters sideways with self-stiping yarns, in which case, you don't need to wory about matching skeins for the front and back. The stripes run up and down, which is both interesting and more flattering for most figures.
